Kasauli – A Sojourn At Ros Common

Ross Common Hotel
I had always dreamed of spending a vacation in a bungalow in the midst of mountains – my dream came true in Kasauli at Ros Common, a heritage hotel. It’s an old hotel and thus, has old furnishings – it may not have all the modern amenities, but it pleases you with its basic and simple hospitality.

It's a different experience to stay in a suite - with a dining cum living room and bedroom. So, it kind of gives you a homey feeling, which allows you to do your own thing!

I still reminisce about the home-made stuffed parathas and tea they served for breakfast. Spending lazy afternoons at the lawn, gazing at the Himalayas and just enjoying the bliss called ‘idleness’ is what will bring you back here.

As I said earlier, Ross Common isn't one of those high-profile hotels, however, it's an ideal choice for those who are looking for big, spacious rooms with quietude. It's an inviting place for both a lonely traveler as well as a family. The hotel staff is also amiable and makes you feel at home instantly.
