5 Fun Things You Can Do Here -

A small hill station, 13 km away from Shimla, hosts a beguiling holiday for you. Make sure you don’t rush through it. Come here with a big heart for a big-hearted excursion!

1.       Gazing at the Blue Himalayas – If you have beautiful Blue Mountains for view, why would you care to do anything else but simply sit and gaze? Kufri offers the closest views of the Himalayas. It’s an amazing experience to view them from the highest peak (Mahasu Peak) through telescope.

2.       Horse Riding – There’s no better way to enjoy the simple charm of Kufri than riding on a horse. Although your guide will educate you about the place, it’s better to just look around and gather your own observations.

3.       Eating – Of course, you eat wherever you go! However, Kufri sets the perfect ambiance to nosh your favourite meal, while relaxing amidst the picturesque surroundings. You can spend more time chatting and laughing with your family.

4.       Reading a book under a tree – Yes, you can actually do that here! It’s not important to do all the touristy things to be able to call it a holiday – rather, do your own thing! It’s much more fun.

5.       Trailing through the forests – If you like exploring things on foot, getting lost in the forests is an inviting idea! As long as you are game for an aimless wander, there are many interesting places to see – Chini Bungalow, known for its architecture, Himalayan Wildlife Zoo and other small places.

Beautiful Trails

The best way to enjoy Kufri is to see it without a guide. Simply visit it on your own without any time restrictions. It is definitely going to enthral you!

  2. Lovely pictures. When we visited we were expecting to see some snow but ended up being there before the snowfall. But it was still fun. :)
Hill stations have a charm of their own, don't they? :)
