The Divine Dandeli – A Photo Essay

Who wouldn't drool over such views?

When I was in Dandeli, I was in awe of nature. It turned out to be exactly my kind of a destination - full of nature's glory. Everything there seemed to be completely oblivious of the world that we live in. The air was different, and so was its aroma and the feeling it evoked.

We didn’t mind the fact that our phones didn’t get signals throughout the trip and we couldn’t keep in touch with our people back home. Who cared? I mean, who would really care about anything when you have such fresh, pure and beautiful nature snuggling close to you!

Here are the pictures to awaken you about Dandeli –

The Bison River
Kali Adventure Camp
Bamboo-zled... way to the Syntheri Rocks
Water fountain at the Syntheri Rocks
Dandeli is full of trees, which makes it a perfect abode of nature
A view point in a jungle
Drool-worthy, isn't it?
Trek through a forest
Up, close and personal with nature
I had never seen such clear and stunning reflections before
A small village and grain fields adjoining a jungle
Foliage coated with morning dew
There are a variety of trees in the forest
The backwater view
The banks of Bison river resort where all the adventure activities set off
There are trees that are ages old, which makes them even more interesting
Wild fruits
It's a place in a forest where you can stop and take rest
It's hard to take your eyes off from this azure beauty
Dandeli beckons you to stop by
Don't cut trees. Plant more of them!
Are you ready to follow the nature's trail?

It would be just apt to say that Dandeli is a photographer's delight. It has many beautiful sights to capture. Just be here and see it for yourself.

  12. It didn't go through :( Ok, here goes again! I loved all your pics, and Dandeli looks a gorgeous spot. My fave pic was the BackWater View but the one with the kayaks comes a close second. (Thank you for commenting over at YTravelBlog on my guest post about England earlier today).
