An Intimate Rendezvous With Nature In Sikkim
Sikkim is a land of nature – its wild beauty is sprawled all over the place. When I headed to Sikkim, all I thought about was the picture-perfect mountain ranges and the blue lakes. I was totally oblivious about the fact that Sikkim is so full of flowers – from the usual roses to some of the rarest kinds. It’s almost like wherever you set your eyes, there is some beauty waiting to hold your attention. I spotted wild mushrooms, orchids, ferns, bamboos and lots of other interesting species of flowers.
Thus, natural gems are abundant in Sikkim. No questions there. But, something even better to take note of is their conservation. I’d like to give credit to the people of Sikkim for preserving the beauty of nature so well. Sikkim is mostly clean and pollution free. There is plenteous foliage everywhere – it’s a kind of a therapy to take nature walks in the midst of lush forests (as long as you can walk steep heights).
I don’t remember all the names of the flora that I discovered, but I do have them for you in pictures –

Sikkim is conscious about preserving its natural beauty and that’s why it’s there for all of us to see and enjoy.

Have you witnessed Sikkim’s wild beauty?
