My 8 ‘New Year’ Resolutions For 2015 – Travel And Beyond

My 8 ‘New Year’ Resolutions For 2015 – Travel And Beyond
It’s time to make some resolutions again! Last year, I made 5 Travel Resolutions, most of which I did fulfil. This year I would like to make more new changes in my life as a traveller and as a person. Although I believe each new day is a chance to begin afresh, ‘New Year’ gives a certain kick to do better in life. I’m really looking forward to making my 2015 a great year.
So, here I am with my resolutions for 2015 –
No staying up late at night
Ever since I started blogging, I developed this bad habit of staying up late at night and sleeping in till 11 in the morning. My entire routine has gone haywire because of my abnormal sleeping pattern. But now I’m trying to give up this weird lifestyle and become sane.
Jogging and practising yoga
I hate going to the gym, but I love food. I believe physical exercise should not be a pain. It should be fun to exercise. So, I have found my two favourite ways to stay fit – gentle running and yoga.
Spend more time outdoors
Since I work from home, I barely get out of my house. I need to spend more time outdoors around my house and in my city.
Practice photography
I take my camera out only when I am travelling, which I want to change this year. I need to practice photography, learn more about my camera and get more professional eventually.
To be more disciplined with my work
Discipline is a big issue with me. Although I do work very hard, I can be lazy too. I need to learn to manage my time and work more smartly. Procrastination is something that I want to expel from my life in 2015.
To be more socially active both online and offline
Being a travel blogger, I need to be socially active online, but mingling with people offline is also important. I met many people on my recent trips, which made my journey as a traveller and a blogger more meaningful. I will focus on doing so more and more in the days to come.
Get into the habit of avid reading
Reading is something that doesn’t come naturally to me. I have to try really hard to read something and grasp it. But I understand that it’s important to read different stuff to be able to find inspiration and develop better writing skills.

Travel more frequently

2015 is certainly going to be a more ‘travel-oriented’ year for me. My finances have kept me from travelling as much as I would like to, but I’m determined to make it work this year. I have created a separate savings account just for my travel funds.
Okay now I would like to hear from you! What are your NEW YEAR resolutions?
